Zoos Victoria on Paper

Speculative Work

Zoos Victoria’s primary goal is
conservation and that effort
is funded by people getting
involved in the zoo.
Zoos Victoria aims to attract visitors
by showcasing the beauty and
importance of wildlife and nature.
By spotlighting their amazing
wildlife, Zoos Victoria hopes kids
and adults will become invested
in animal welfare.
Zoos Victoria’s main audience
are families and when creating
my final suite of images, I had in
mind the simplified personas of a
parent and a child.

#chatsafe winter campaign

Content Creation

For this campaign I was tasked with creating short form video content that aimed to transform #chatsafe guidelines to a simple and digestible form yet still stayed true to #chatsafe's incredibly important message. As a youth creator, I leaned into a lowkey and relatable production style. I incorporated hand-drawn comic style illustrations, paying homage to educational "whiteboard" YouTube content. This visual element helped the information take on a new form and also made the video more active and dynamic.video 1video 2video 3

Meet Me in the West

Speculative Work - Illustration

Meet me in the West is a journal kit that celebrates Naarm’s West. The kit contains versatile stationery goods for journallers new and old to get creative with their memory keeping. In a digital age, time moves even faster. Trends come and go, and so too our precious memories - taken with a blurry phone camera up on Instagram for just 24 hours.Meet me in the West says no to the perfectly imperfect Gen Z photodump, and welcomes the messy, imperfectly imperfect art of the journal. This journal kit pays homage to the traditional travel journal while embracing key features of the inner Western suburbs of Melbourne. It vibrantly captures the beautiful mundanity of everyday life, encouraging journallers to hold on to our favourite moments a little more tightly and little longer.

Lychee

Speculative Work - Idenity

Team Lychee is a fictional eSports team I created to explore how design can play a part in elevating the audience of Valorant Game Changers.Game Changers is a Valorant competition created to support women and gender diverse people in having an opportunity to play competitive Valorant.Game Changers is an important tournament, not just for the players - who otherwise would find it difficult in the space - but for fans and aspiring players.Like many, I follow the main VCT and have a team I support. However I don't follow Game Changers as closely as I'd like to, and plenty of VCT fans still don't give it the respect it deserves. Such remarks that the championship shouldn't exist and they should play in the VCT, ignore the reality of what it's like to be a woman in gaming. Many of the teams in Game Changers are from existing eSports franchises and thus keep the same name and logo. What Lychee set out to do is enter in a new style of eSports design that represents the fresh vibrancy that Game Changers represents and move away from the dark edgy gamer aesthetic we've come to expect in traditional gaming. For this project I created the Lychee logo and wordmark alongside assets to be used when creating match day graphics and other promotional material.
